Meaningful clinical work, built around your life — not the other way around

Many of our clinicians came to AllSALT wanting to keep doing work they genuinely care about, without it swallowing every part of their week. If you're an experienced speech pathologist looking to build a caseload that fits around family commitments, study, or simply a life outside the clinic, this is worth a conversation.

What flexibility actually looks like here

We don't put clinicians on a rigid roster. When you join, the Director talks with you directly about your experience, your preferred way of working, and what caseload actually suits your life — then builds your work around that, not the other way around. In practice, that means:

• Casual engagement, with shifts built around your availability

• A mix of clinic, home visit, school, aged care, or telehealth work — whatever combination genuinely suits you

• Pay on a commission basis, always topped up to at least the Award minimum

• A minimum 3-hour engagement per shift, so short visits are always worthwhile

 

Who thrives here

This isn't entry-level work, and it isn't a fit for everyone. We're looking for clinicians who are:

• Experienced — confident practising with genuine clinical independence

• Professional — reliable, well-organised, and comfortable liaising with families, schools, and other providers

• Vocationally driven — here because you care about the outcomes for clients and their families, not just the pay cheque

If that's you, the flexibility works both ways: we trust you to manage your caseload well, and you get a practice that genuinely works around your life.

For families and clients reading this

Every clinician who joins AllSALT holds current SPA membership, a Working With Children Check, and the relevant screening for their work (National Police Certificate or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance for aged care and disability work). Flexibility in how our team works together doesn't mean flexibility in who we bring on — every clinician is experienced and vetted before they ever see a client.
